What we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Shopify Developer to join our team of digital marketing experts. The Shopify Developer will be a key member of our marketing team and will be responsible for ongoing web development and the creation of new websites in every step of the way, including testing, launching and tracking performance to make edits accordingly.
What you would be doing:
- Planning and creating e-commerce websites
- Maintaining and scaling up existing websites
- Making clarity and user-friendly practices a top priority
- Communicating with the marketing team to make changes according to existing offers
- Working with effective APIs and being on top of new additions, including A/B testing
- Analysing the websites for potential problems and to optimise performance
- Working closely with the Creative Manager and the Head Developer to ensure the branding is consistent across all pages
- Collaborating with the SEO Specialist to ensure SE performance is optimised
What skills and qualifications do you need?
- Fluent in English
- 2+ years' experience with Shopify (including Shopify Plus)
- Experience with using Bootstrap, Liquid and JavaScript development
- Website speed optimization
- Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign
- Experience with developing entire websites from A to Z
- Ability to manage multiple projects from different brands
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Highly proactive
- Knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends and best practices
- Great time management skills
- Collaborative working style
